A key freeway ramp in Pinal County will be closed for the next two months for construction work.
Pinal County officials say a ramp from westbound I-10 to westbound I-8 will be shut down starting Monday morning.
ADOT says drivers wanting to get onto westbound I-8 will have to follow a detour to Jimmie Kerr Boulevard to eastbound I-10 and then to westbound I-8.
I-10 will have lane restrictions at night at the I-8 junction on weekdays in both directions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The closure will be in effect until late February.
ADOT officials say crews need to reconstruct a guardrail and bridge barrier and also make drainage improvements.
The work is part of a $7.3 million project expected to be finished by summer.
