Pinal County Sheriff's arrested a man in Florence on Wednesday after he promised drugs and alcohol to a minor in exchange for sexual favors.
PCSO officials say 25-year-old Shawn Sethi was communicating with an undercover PCSO investigator posing as a 14-year-old girl on social media.
The undercover detective was direct and made it clear to Sethi the profile he was chatting with was only 14-years-old, but Sethi continued with his offer and arranged to meet in person in Florence, officials say.
When Sethi arrived, investigators found alcohol and drugs and arrested Sethi.
He is charged with attempted sexual conduct with a minor, luring a minor, child sex trafficking, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
"This is the second time this week our investigators have arrested someone who is going after our children," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. "In both cases, the meeting either happened or was scheduled almost as soon as the conversation got started. It's a shame that there are people out there that will try to target our most innocent."
