An 18-year-old has been arrested after he allegedly stole several guns in Florence.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said Daniel Villanueva was wanted for a burglary in Florence where he took two guns, a .357 handgun, an AR-15 with a fully loaded AR-15 magazine and 500 rounds of ammunition.

The suspect used a handgun during a domestic violence situation shortly after the break-in, PCSO said.

Villanueva had a warrant out for his arrest for a felony probation violation for robbery. He was considered armed and dangerous with violent tendencies, an escape risk and a known drug user.

On December 14, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Gang and Habitual Offender Strike Team were able to track down the suspect. Officials tried to stop Villanueva but he failed to yield, taking PCSO on a six-minute pursuit through Florence.

The suspect was taken into custody as he attempted to climb a roof in Florence.
