The week has been busy for Border Patrol agents in southern Arizona after two arrests of large groups of immigrants near Lukeville.
The first encounter came on Tuesday when agents found a group of 164 people including families and unaccompanied minors from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
Then on Wednesday, agents found a group of 100 people in the same general area where the first group was found.
The immigrants ranged in age from 11 months to 59 years old.
The Border Patrol says everyone was in good health. Agents arrested the immigrants.
Agents have seen a number of extraordinarily large groups of immigrants this year. In the past three months alone, agents arrested over 1,200 immigrants in large groups in that same area near Lukeville.
Earlier this month at the Lukeville Port of Entry, 193 immigrants were found in two separate incidents within a matter of hours.
