While President-elect Donald Trump proposed a border wall, a large reservation in southern Arizona is saying they won't let it happen on their land.

Verlon Jose, a tribal chairman for the Tohono O'odham Nation, said in an interview with KJZZ, "over my dead body will a wall be built." Jose said he wants to work together to help protect America's homeland.

The Tohono O'odham Nation is located in central southern Arizona and takes up a large chunk of land along the United States-Mexico border. It encompasses millions of acres of land and spans about 75 miles along the border.
