Arizona Game and Fish officials are looking for someone who killed three javelinas near Tucson.
Authorities say the killings happened June 17 and 18 near North Diamond Hills and West Green Desert Drive, and that the javelinas may have been moved there.
One of the javelina's hind legs was bound and it was partially skinned.
“Poachers are not hunters. They are thieves stealing wildlife from the citizens of Arizona,” said Acting Regional Supervisor Jimmy Simmons of Game and Fish in Tucson. “We hope that someone with knowledge of this case will come forward. There are no open javelina seasons currently ongoing, so this is a clear act of criminal behavior.”
Those with information about the case should call 800-352-0700.
