Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey will spend some time in Tucson to meet with Mexican officials for the grand opening of the new Mexican Consulate offices.
The Republican governor will be joined by Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs Claudia Ruiz-Massieu and Sonora Gov. Claudia Pavlovich for the afternoon ceremony on Tuesday.
The officials will meet to discuss trade and commerce between the two countries following the ceremony.
Both governors have worked together on cross-border trade, touting a strong relationship between Arizona and Sonora.
