Police investigating after plane crashes in Marana neighborhood Tuesday

MARANA, AZ — The Marana Police Department and Northwest Fire District are investigating after a small plane crashed in a residential area Tuesday morning.

The plane appeared to crash land on a roof and off the side of a home in the area of Senita Bloom and Crooked Peak in Marana, northwest of Tucson.

No injuries have been reported.

It's unclear what caused the plane to crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
