Reid Park Zoo has announced Saturday that their 23-year-old jaguar has died.
On July 5, Simone was euthanized due to age-related health issues.
The zoo says they determined euthanization based on kidney disease and pancreas issues that are common in cats her size and age.
Simone was the oldest jaguar at an AZA-accredited zoo, according to Reid Park Zoo.
