Skeletal remains of 38-year-old Sarah Galloway identified

This story originally incorrectly reported the date Galloway's skeletal remains were found, as well as the date she went missing.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima County Sheriff's deputies identified skeletal remains found in Picture Rocks as those of 38-year-old Sarah Galloway.

The manner of death has not yet been determined.

The remains were found in a desert area northeast of Anthony and Massingale Roads Feb. 12.

Galloway, who has Down syndrome, had been missing since Thursday March 21, 2019. Her last known location was in the 10600 Block of West Massingale Road.

PCSD says she was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray sweater, and dark pants around 8 a.m. that day. She was 4-11 and weighed around 100 pounds. She had brown hair and brown eyes.
