Before he takes to the skies in "Top Gun: Maverick" in 2020, Tom Cruise is getting back into pilot form. His travels brought him to Marana Thursday, according to the town's Twitter page.

The town says Cruise stopped at Marana Regional Airport to refuel on the way to southern California.
Cruise will reprise his role as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in the sequel to the iconic 1986 "Top Gun."
He is known to have an extensive collection of planes. He flew his World War II era fighter, a P-51 Mustang, to Marana.
His stay in Marana was brief, says town spokesman Vic Hathaway.
"He did not stay long," she said. "He was only in long enough to refuel before taking off again."
