TUCSON, AZ — Police say a 10-year-old boy was the victim of an apparent murder-suicide at a Tucson home.
They say the boy was declared dead at the scene with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.
Police say 40-year-old Phillip Emmanuel Foye apparently fatally shot the boy before turning the gun on himself.
The relationship of the man and boy wasn’t immediately released by police Sunday.
Officers who were sent to a home early Saturday morning to check the welfare of its occupants.
Police say the man and boy lived together at the residence along with an adult female who was not home at the time of the incident and Phillip Emmanuel Foye was the only adult in the home armed with a gun.
