Tucson police: Woman shoots, kills two robbery suspects

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police investigated a homicide on the eastside Wednesday.

Police say the call came in at 3:45 a.m. A woman called 911 and said she heard noises coming from her backyard, in the 4700 block of East Duncan Street, near Grant and Swan.

She found two men trying to break in and confronted them. She shot both of them. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital, where he died.
