The University of Arizona is changing the dates for its homecoming and family weekend to avoid conflicts with the Veterans Day holiday weekend.
The university's homecoming celebration is now scheduled for Oct. 27-29, while the Family Weekend is now scheduled for Oct. 14-16.
Homecoming had been scheduled for Nov. 10-12 while Family Weekend had been scheduled for Oct. 28-30.
With the new dates, there will be home football games against Stanford on Homecoming weekend and against Southern Cal on Family Weekend.
