Former Salome teacher arrested, accused of sexual conduct with student

A former teacher at Salome High School has been arrested for alleged sexual conduct with a former student. 

According to the La Paz County Sheriff's Office, deputies were notified of the alleged sexual relationship between Michael O'Boyle and a former student in April. 

O'Boyle was arrested in Prescott Valley and was booked at the Yavapai County Jail without incident, officials said. 

According to deputies, a search warrant was obtained and served at his residence. 

He has been charged with 16 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
