A child was found unresponsive in a Yuma pool on Wednesday.
Yuma police said officers responded on Wednesday afternoon to a report of a child found in a swimming pool at the 4300 block of S. Boxwood Avenue.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 23-month-old boy unresponsive in a swimming pool where he lived.
The child was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead.
No word if any charges have been filed.
