A 77-year-old Yuma woman is facing animal cruelty charges after more than 40 animals, including four dead cats were found inside her home.
Yuma County Sheriff's officials were called to Jeanne Pryor's home Monday after receiving several complaints of a foul odor and multiple cats roaming her property.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found Pryor's home covered in cat feces and urine. Officials say spiders, cobwebs and bugs covered the ceilings, countertops and cupboards.
Neighbors told deputies that Pryor lived outside her home in between the backyard and driveway.
Forty-one cats and two dogs were taken to the Humane Society for treatment.
