YUMA, AZ — Yuma Fire Department personnel have been dispatched to southern California to help fight wildfires.
Officials say an engine and four firefighters left Yuma Wednesday and arrived to their staging area on Thursday. They have not yet been assigned a specific fire, but are on alert.

Yuma firefighters were last dispatched in November 2018 to the “Camp Fire” in northern California and the “Woolsey Fire” in Ventura and Malibu counties.
