CAVE CREEK, AZ — An 11-year-old boy with special needs is in critical condition after a near-drowning incident at a Cave Creek home.
Phoenix fire officials responded to a home near Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road around noon, where a boy was pulled from a bathtub. The boy reportedly spit up water and began breathing on his own by the time crews arrived, according to fire officials.
Crews transported the boy to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.
