CAVE CREEK, AZ — Three women were rescued after their van got stuck in a running wash near Cave Creek on Wednesday morning.
According to Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the occupants were trapped in their vehicle near the Cavaha Springs area.
Video from the scene showed rushing water around the van.
MCSO and Rural Metro Fire Department officials were on scene with aerial help before dawn.
All of the occupants were safely removed from the car.
Officials on scene say the women were headed to the airport to catch a flight.
