Phoenix Police say a 31-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near East Palm Lane and North 44th Street in Phoenix early Saturday morning.
According to police, Alexander Russel Siple was down on the road before being struck by a hit-and-run driver. It is unknown why Siple was down on the road at the time of the incident.
Police say Siple was hit at approximately 2 a.m. by an unknown driver who fled the scene.
Siple was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
