Check your tickets! $1 million Powerball ticket sold in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold for Wednesday night’s drawing, at a store in Scottsdale.

Arizona Lottery says the ticket matched five out of the five numbers, but not the Powerball number.

Winning numbers: 2, 12, 16, 29, 54

The ticket did not match the Powerball number, which was 6.

The ticket was sold at the Grocery Station near 10810 E. Via Linda in Scottsdale.

It may also be worth checking your older tickets, too.

According to the Arizona Lottery, there are several unclaimed lottery prizes, including a Fantasy 5 Jackpot winner from January 24, a $50,000 Powerball ticket from January 2, and a $10,000 Mega Millions ticket from January 4. Seven winning tickets worth up to $50,000 from 2018 have also yet to be claimed.

The next Powerball drawing is on Saturday, Feb. 2 with an estimated jackpot of $191 million.
