Whether you call him Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion, there's no denying the guy is a genius rapper rocking the game since the early 90s.

What you might not know is that he's also a certified football coach and passionate about his team and young players.

Snoop has a youth football team in California, and on Saturday they faced off against the Arizona Youth Football team in an all-star game.

"It teaches them a whole lot," Snoop Dogg said. "It teaches them, you know, how to be teammates, how to work with each other, how to take losses, how to win."

Snoop said it also teaches the young men "how to have class and just how to be gentlemen at all times."

Not only did the game help bring young athletes together to compete, but it also helped collect food for the United Food Bank.

The game was held at Chaparral High School and featured players 12 years of age and younger.
