Friday morning's monsoon storm had quite an impact at a local golf course.
Golfers at Camelback Golf Course were asked to leave the course at around 9 a.m. after thunder, lightning and rain swept through the area flooding the course.
A staff member said about 40-50 golfers were on the course playing when they were told to leave for their own safety.
The renovated golf course is built on the Indian Bend Wash and typically floods when it rains.
Both courses were closed down for the rest of the day, impacting about 200 golfers.
Staff said one of the two courses was expected to be open by Saturday.
