A man is in custody after a short foot pursuit in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale police said at 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, they responded to a call of a subject stealing a bike at the Scottsdale Waterfront Condos near Scottsdale and Camelback roads.
Security told police they saw a suspect exiting a locked bike cage and leaving through the parking garage.
According to police, the suspect, Michael Elcock, 36, was stopped by an officer and a short pursuit started.
Elcock was taken into custody and the stolen bike was recovered.
The 36-year-old was identified as a suspect in two previous bike thefts on March 13.
