Stepped-up DUI patrols continue through Halloween after police across Arizona arrested more than 60 people on suspicion of DUI Saturday night.
More than 200 officers are part of the statewide effort, according to Sgt. K.C. Moore of the Scottsdale Police Department.
Saturation patrols mean more officers are on the lookout for drunk drivers.
In the east Valley, police arrested more than 30 people on suspicion of DUI Saturday night, Moore said.
"I have no problem with people who want to go out and have a good time," Moore said. "Just don't get behind the wheel when you do it."
The average blood-alcohol content of an arrestee in the East Valley Saturday night was .164, more than twice the legal limit of .08, according to Moore.
