Scottsdale firefighters helped a teen down the mountain after he became stuck while hiking near 128th Street and Cactus.
Officials say the 17-year-old was hiking along Tom's Thumb Trail when he became lodged between two 30-foot boulders.
Crews from Scottsdale and Phoenix were able to free the teen and walked him down the mountain.

"It definitely could have been worse," said Scottsdale Fire Capt. Todd Cavner. "I'm glad we found him. There's hundreds of square miles of hiking in just the McDowell Mountains. It's like finding a needle in a haystack."
The teen was expected to be ok.
