Police have identified the body of a woman found in a condominium earlier this week.
Officers said the woman is 50-year-old Madeline Mitchell. Her cause of death has not been determined, but police said the circumstances did not appear suspicious.
The body was discovered on Tuesday in a condo near Indian Bend and Scottsdale roads after a neighbor called to report an odor coming from inside the unit.
Police previously said the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
The case remains under investigation.
