SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects from a burglary and two separate arsons.

Authorities say on March 26 around 6:45 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) started fires at two separate homes near 74th Place and Cactus Road. Police say both fires were put out by people who were nearby.

Witnesses reported seeing a man who was wearing a dark colored hoodie leaving one of the scenes on foot before getting in a newer gray Nissan Altima.

At approximately 7:00 a.m., the same suspect broke into the Diamond House jewelry store near 92nd Street and Shea Boulevard. Police say the suspect smashed counter display cases and stole a large quantity of jewelry.

Surveillance video from behind the store shows the suspect getting into the same Nissan Altima being driven by a second suspect.

The first suspect is described as 5 feet, 6 inches to 6 foot tall, thin build, wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt with white writing on the front, gray sweatpants with a blue stripe up the sides, and gray and white tennis shoes.

Police say no description is available for the 2nd suspect (driver) at this time.
