Bureau of Land Management officials say a brush fire near Interstate 17 and Cordes Lakes junction is now 100 percent contained.
The Cordes Fire sparked Monday and burned approximately 344 acres, fire officials say.

The fire was approximately 1/4 mile from structures and no homes were evacuated,

Interstate 17 is now OPEN at State ROute 69.
A right lane closure remains in place between mileposts 263 to 259 due to a brush fire,

Fire crews say they are investigating what caused the blaze.
