FLAGSTAFF, AZ — Two people died after a vehicle crashed into a business lobby in Flagstaff early Saturday morning.
According to Flagstaff police, offices responded to the area of County Club Drive and Soliere Avenue around 3 a.m. for a single-vehicle collision.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a vehicle inside a business lobby with two people ejected from the vehicle.
Authorities believe the driver of the vehicle was 23-year-old Jeffrey Kassir of Scottsdale, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger, identified as 22-year-old Amanda Mosqueira of Phoenix, was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
An initial investigation revealed the vehicle was heading down Country Club Drive toward Solere Avenue when the vehicle left the roadway, crossed the center median, and collided with a business in the area.
Police said both passengers were ejected from the vehicle at the time of the crash.
An investigation remains ongoing as authorities are still determining if speed or any other factors could have caused the crash.
