A 9-year-old girl has been found safe after missing for several hours in the Elk Park Meadows area near Flagstaff on Sunday.
The Coconino County Sheriff's Office had issued an alert for Cheyenne Reynolds after she failed to return to her cabin around noon in the Elk Park Meadows area.
Reynolds, who is from the Phoenix area, was separated from her friends after heading back from a hike.
She was found by a family member on an ATV around 7 p.m.
Officials say she was cold from falling into water and is being evaluated but appears to be OK.
Multiple local and state agencies were involved in the search efforts.
