Flagstaff double shooting: 1 killed, 1 hurt in shooting at recreation center

Police are on the hunt for two suspects after a deadly double shooting at a Flagstaff recreation center.

Officers responded to the Hal Jensen Recreation Center around 5 p.m. after reports of gunfire.

Sgt. Cory Runge said 20-year-old Jacob Allen of Flagstaff was pronounced dead on scene. 

Police later learned a second victim had been shot at the same location and fled the scene. The juvenile was located and transported to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment. The man's name wasn't released but he remains hospitalized in stable condition.

According to Runge, two people wearing dark-colored hoodies were seen running from the facility at the time of the incident.

A dark-colored GMC Suburban believed to be involved in the altercation was also spotted by witnesses.
