The Arizona Department of Public Safety says 18-year-old Javas Cody, of Kayenta, was driving north on US 89 when he crossed over the striped median and hit a passenger vehicle with four tourists from Colombia.
Cody and his passenger, 39-year-old Aaron Chee, died at the scene. The four tourists, 22-year-old Juliana Delgado, 60-year-old Carlos Jaramillo, 22-year-old Manuela Delgado, and 58-year-old Soriada Sierra, were also pronounced dead at the scene.
