It's finally time to hit the slopes in Arizona!
Arizona Snowbowl said the ski area opened Tuesday, November 21, making it the first ski area to open in the state this season.
Warm temperatures caused a delay in Snowbowl's opening. It was originally scheduled to open on Friday, November 17.
Aside from opening day, Snowbowl is celebrating its 80th Anniversary.
The Agassiz chairlift will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily, and will provide access from the midway unloading terminal to 25 acres of open terrain, including the intermediate trails Midway Catwalk, Logjam, Wild Turkey, and Round Up.
No beginner terrain is currently available, according to Snowbowl.
Ski and snowboard rentals are available at the Hart Prairie Lodge, and the Agassiz Lodge restaurant and bar will be serving breakfast burritos and lunch.
Lift tickets are available for purchase at the Agassiz Sport Shop -- adults are $49 and children are $29. For additional details, go online.
