A suspect is in the hospital after being shot by an officer in Winslow on Sunday morning.
Winslow police said officers responded to a reported armed robbery in progress at a Circle K at 323 N. Williamson just before 2:00 a.m.
A responding officer shot the suspect after arriving on the scene. Details surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
The suspect was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
No officers were injured in the incident.
