A woman is behind bars in Flagstaff in connection to a homicide investigation in San Francisco.
According Flagstaff police, Sahmanntha Rundstrom, 19, was arrested on Tuesday in a wooded area near Harold Ranch Road.
Rundstrom is accused of being involved in a homicide that took place in San Francisco on May 24, 2016, police said.
Law enforcement officials discovered that Rundstrom was in Flagstaff after she took to Facebook to write that her car broke down and that she was stuck in the city.
Last Wednesday, officers received complaints about Rundstrom allegedly living behind dumpsters on Milton Road, a police spokesperson said. She wasn't arrested during the incident because she allegedly gave officer's false identification.
However, according to police, Rundstrom's identification was confirmed after a still image was taken from the officer’s body camera. The photo was shared with the San Francisco DA’s Office and officials verified that Rundstrom was the suspect.
She was booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility.
