The body of a missing man from Phoenix was recovered in Lake Havasu on Tuesday morning.

On June 16, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to the north basin of Lake Havasu for a report of a man who jumped from a boat to swim.

The man was not wearing a life jacket and went under the surface. MCSO began searching the area using boats, sonar equipment, submarine and a helicopter.

At 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, a boater reported a body found in the north basin.

Deputies responded and confirmed it was the missing man. He has been identified as 45-year-old Rosario Carreon of Phoenix.
