A crash involving more than a half-dozen vehicles has closed US 93 near the Nevada state line.
Authorities say eight vehicles were involved in a crash about 40 miles northwest of Kingman. The crash closed northbound US 93. The lanes are expected to be closed until around 7 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Officials said two people were killed and three others hurt in the crash near milepost 27.
One lane of US 93 reopened to traffic just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Drivers trying to reach Las Vegas or other areas along the highway were told to plan for delays and consider alternate routes, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
