Southbound lanes of Interstate 17 have reopened after a rollover crash involving a horse trailer on Friday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a pickup truck pulling a trailer with eight horses overturned in the southbound lanes near milepost 270 around 9 a.m.
One horse reportedly had to be euthanized. The other animals were put into other trailers and taken from the scene.
A man and woman inside the truck were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
