The Arizona Department of Public Safety says one person died in a rollover crash north of Winslow on Sunday.

Troopers responded around 3:40 p.m. to the scene on State Route 87, about three miles north of Winslow.

Troopers say the vehicle was heading south on SR 87 when the rear tire on the driver's side failed, according to a preliminary investigation. The failure caused the driver to lose control, sending the vehicle rolling off of the highway.

The driver, who was ejected, died on the scene. Three others inside suffered minor injuries. None of the four were wearing seat belts, according to a release from DPS.

Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, troopers said.
