A small lightning-caused wildfire was reported Thursday in northern Arizona.
The Coconino National Forest said in a series of tweets Thursday afternoon that the wildfire, called the Strawberry Fire, was 2- to 3-acres, and burning north of Pine and Strawberry.
#StrawberryFire Q&A: Winds are a concern & contributes to visible smoke. Recent rains brought good moisture - fire low intensity. #AZCOF

It was described as low-intensity and moving slow, but winds were a concern. Coconino said those nearby could likely see smoke in the air and that the fire is located within ponderosa pine.
The Pine-Strawberry Fire Department tweeted that it was aware of the wildfire.
Please be aware all our community, we are aware of this and as you can see, Coconino is on it. https://t.co/vlJWTk5zCu
