The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly collision on Interstate 17 at milepost 239.1.
According to officials, a single vehicle, driven by 50-year-old Christopher Hamilton, was traveling northbound on I-17 when the driver lost control of the car. Hamilton, from Prescott Valley, hit a guardrail and his vehicle rolled over.
Hamilton's passenger, 73-year-old Sue Hotchkin also from Prescott Valley, was ejected from the vehicle; a third passenger, 48-year-old Rebecca Hamilton, was taken to the hospital along with the other two individuals.
Hotchkin later passed away in a hospital.
