PAYSON, AZ — A Phoenix man has been arrested after allegedly being caught with 100,000 narcotic pills laced with Fentanyl in Payson Thursday night.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office deputies say their Drug, Gang, and Violent Crimes Task Force attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at around 8:30 p.m. near Beeline Highway.

During the traffic stop, deputies say they noticed "indicators of criminal activity" and then deployed a Task Force K-9 to conduct a drug sniff.

Following the search, approximately 100,000 narcotic pills laced with Fentanyl were discovered inside the vehicle with a street value of $2,500,000.
