Yavapai County Sheriff's Office investigating Circle K robbery, no arrests made

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at a convenience store in Oak Creek.

Authorities were called to a Circle K near Highway 179 and Bell Rock Road early Saturday morning after receiving reports about a robbery.

According to the employee, the suspect walked into the store and demanded cash from the register, authorities said. The man’s hands were in his pocket and he threatened to shoot the clerk if he didn’t comply.

The employee never saw a gun, a YCSO spokesperson confirmed.

The man fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. So far, deputies have been unsuccessful in their attempt to locate him.

The man is described as being white, 6’0”, 170 pounds and wearing a blue long sleeve hoodie and blue jeans. He was also wearing sunglasses and appeared to be right handed.

The employee was able to give deputies a sketch of the suspect.
