GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, AZ — Officials are searching for a hiker missing at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
The National Park Service says 66-year-old Peter Schwab, of Healdsburg, California, was last seen Friday on a small beach downriver from National Canyon, near mile 167 on the Colorado River.
Schwab is on a river trip and went on a day hike to the Narrows within National Canyon, according to the park service.
He was last seen wearing a tan, full-brim hat, white long sleeve shirt gray cargo shorts and older-style Teva sandals.
Anyone who may have seen Schwab is asked to call NPS at 888-653-0009.
