A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Ahwatukee on Tuesday night.
Phoenix police said the crash happened at 36th Street and Ray Road at 5:00 p.m.
According to police, the driver of a vehicle made a left turn without yielding to a motorcycle that was traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Christian Nagel, collided with the vehicle. He was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Nagel was later pronounced dead, police said.
Investigators do not believe the 42-year-old driver of the vehicle was impaired.
