Two Department of Public Safety troopers were among seven people hurt in a multi-vehicle accident in Phoenix Friday morning.
Officials closed Bethany Home Road eastbound and westbound at Interstate 17 due to the crash for several hours Friday morning. The intersection re-opened around noon.

Department of Public Safety Trooper Kameron Lee said the crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m.
Lee said the two troopers were going through an intersection when they were t-boned by another SUV.
"The SUV's occupants, two adults and three children, were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, " said Lee. "The trooper and trainee in the DPS vehicle were taken to the hospital as well, in stable condition."
A dump truck was also involved in the crash, but the driver was not injured.
Initial reports from Phoenix Fire indicated that nine people were injured, including the two DPS troopers, but Lee later said seven patients were transported.
According to DPS, the troopers were expected to be released from the hospital later Friday.
Update: Troopers will be released later today. Adults from SUV will remain in the hospital, children have non-life-threatening injuries.
