Starting on Saturday, May 25, through Monday, May 27, all MCACC adoptions are 50 percent off.

"This particular event will be different because we are including ALL animals. That means puppies, kittens and our Shelter Super Heroes will ALL be 50% off," MCACC officials said in a press release.

On Monday, shelters are only open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

From Thursday, May 23, through Sunday, May 26, adoption fees will be 50 percent off cats and kittens at all four locations.

The deal is in celebration of AHS’s first class of “kitten graduates” through the Kitten Nursery and Foster Hero Program.

AHS is hoping the adoption special will find loving homes for more than 100 cats and kittens up for adoption now, and free up space in kennels for a busy summer ahead.

Normal prices range from $50 for adult cats to $150 for kittens, normally. All adoptions include their spay/neuter surgeries, current vaccinations, a free bag of Science Diet food and a free follow-up vet exam at a VCA hospital.
