Adoptable pets from Arizona Humane Society and Maricopa County Animal Care (12/2/20)

Want to save the life of a shelter pet and bring a new best friend into your home? There are hundreds of adoptable cats and dogs awaiting a new home. Here are some of the pets waiting for a forever family at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control and Arizona Humane Society.

There are some changes to shelter adoption and foster programs. Please be sure to check the AHS and MCACC websites for the latest on their adoption protocols during the coronavirus pandemic.

Milly 650717.PNG "Milly has traveled a long way to find the perfect home. She and several other dogs were brought to the Arizona Humane Society after the shelter they were at in Texas became overwhelmed by the number of animals in their care. This 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix is a super friendly girl with plenty of energy. Coming from Texas, Milly prefers the wide-open spaces and she is not suited for apartment living. She would love to have a yard to run and play with her new family in. She is already potty trained, crate trained, and even knows some basic commands like "sit" and "stay". Adoptions are available at AHS' Campus for Compassion location by appointment only (this is the only adoption location open right now), and you can schedule at www.azhumane.org/adopt.
